  • How do I easily/quickly add a study to several charts?

I have an EFS and I have 20 charts open in my screen. I want to add that EFS to all 20 charts. Do I have to go through the process manually for each chart? Or is there a quick way to do this?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I was trying to find a way to do that but I couldn't for existing charts. If this helps, you can set a chart up just as you'd like it, then save it as a style template, then as default. Now every new chart you open, that EFS will automatically appear.

Hope that helps but perhaps others have suggestions as well.

    Thanks.

Came up with one more idea. Once you create that default time template, you can create a hot key and simply apply that to each existing chart. You program hot keys under TOOLS, then CUSTOMIZE KEYBOARD. Scroll down to "Chart Options Style Templates" and assign a key.

If this functionality is unfamiliar, try searching the KB for instructions.

      Thanks.

If I could add to what Scott suggested.

Style Templates allows you to save settings (i.e. colors, studies, spacing, etc.) as a Style Template, so that you can quickly apply those settings to another chart window.
