We have a dual-core powerful CPU with 3 GB RAM and 5 MBPS ADSL connection and the average speed of downloads from the internet is around 600-620 KBPS.
In spite of this powerful setup, we experience on our eSinal premier 2 types of real-time problems during the trading hours:
1. Slow updates of our intraday advanced charts ( 60 min and 10 min).
2. Slow (up to 30 seconds) switch from one symol to another on the charts.
Please note that when downloading the new eSignal version 10 the download speed is significantly reduced to around 30 KBPS!, as compared to the normal speed with other downloads of 600-620 KBPS. Since we do not perform this download very often but only whenever ther is a new version, this is not a real problem. But this indicates that we have a download/update problem with eSignal.
Can you please assisst us in resolving this problem and also let us know how can we change to a different eSignal server and refresh a chart.
