I was under the impression that "Total View" is supposed to show more quotes (better depth) than Level II. However, I appear to be getting many more quotes using Level II. For example, while viewing MSFT, AAPL, etc, total view most shows quotes from NSDQ, while Level II also shows quotes from arcx, cinn, edga, etc. All these are missing from Total View.
Am I doing something wrong? Have I inadvertently filtered some of these ECN's from my TotalView? Any help or advice is appreciated.
