T&S Cache and Bar Cache settings

When T&S Cache and Bar Cache settings are set above zero is that data stored in RAM or in Virtual Memory, i.e. the Page File? Or is that a decision that every local computer makes and can not be decided by eSignal?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your post.

When you initially request a new chart, the data is supplied from our Tick Server and loaded onto your desktop. From that point forward, data is then streamed in from our Network (Data Manager) and cached locally on your system (virtual memory). When you "refresh", all of the data on that chart is re-sent by a Tick Server and the cached data is cleared.
