$Vix Data Calculation stops working on 5min

I have been charting 5min vix data with the calculation: $vix / $vix / $vix. This has been working fine for a long time.

In the last week I can only display 9 days worth of data for 5min TF or less

If I just use the $vix setting I can see 4 months of data
If I change the $vix / $vix / $vix timeframe to 10 minutes+ it is ok with 4 months visible

All my charts are set for 5mins - so this is driving me mad.

I have a Power User spec PC so it is not Processor power.

Please can you help

You may want to try the workaround suggested in this thread on the same issue.
Also unless you are using a version of eSignal prior to 8 you could simplify the equation that you are currently using to invert the $VIX by changing it to 1 / $VIX from $VIX / $VIX / $VIX (which was a workaround for earlier versions of eSignal that did not have the spread engine)

The Bars workaround has fixed the 5min $vix data issue.
