Is there a way to get the bonds to display their half points on the Advanced Charts?

    Half Points

    Hi There,

    Thanks for your forum post.

From within our eSignal application, please select the top level "Tools" menu and then click to select the "Spread Symbols Settings"

Please create an expression as 0.5 * 'symbol'

    e.g. 0.5 * 'US M8'

and then type the spread name into your quote or chart window to view the data.

Please advise, should you have any additional questions.

    Kind Regards,

      Thanks for your reply Shaheed.

That's not quite what I'm looking for. If you take today's (21-April-08) daily values for the TY #F for example:

The eSignal chart shows these values:
      O: 11608
      H: 11614
      L: 11600
      C: 11613

      But the actual values are:
      O: 116-085
      H: 116-135
      L: 116-000
      C: 116-125

How do I make the chart show the extra half of one 32nd?

Could you please advise the version of our eSignal program that you are currently operating (Help/About Program)

I am showing 6 significant digits for TY #F data from my screen.

        Kind Regards,

            Thanks,

I am currently operating the previous revision of this program from my screen.

Could you please select the top level "File" menu then access the "Preferences" menu from within your eSignal program.

[1] Please make sure the "Show Full Price Precision" option is checked.

[2] Please also, make sure the "Compact Price Display" is checked.

            Kind Regards,

                Any other ideas?

The image that you posted yesterday is not showing up. Is that a browser problem that I'm having? Can you see the image?

There's an issue with that image so it's not you.

                  Try this.

                  Exit eSig.

Search for the file "specs.tab" and rename each occurrence to .bak or anything else you'd like.

Now, start eSig and exit once again.

Start eSignal again and pull-up that chart. Do you see the half-points?

                  Thanks.

btw, are you subscribing to that exchange on a real-time or delayed basis?

                    Thx

I subscribe to the exchange on a delayed basis - just the daily numbers - not real time.

I tried the deleting the *.tab files and restarted eSignal but still same results - still being shown in 32nds and not 32nds + half.

I'm trying this using eSignal 8.2 and 10.4

One of the things that I notice is that when bringing up TY #F or ZB #F in 8.2 the data is received very quickly (in seconds). On 10.4 it takes a long time to receive the data (Daily Bars) - minutes.
