  • can I upgrade from esignal 7.9 to 8.2?

    Hi Guys,

    At the moment I am using esignal 7.9.1, because of the datafunction problems in esignal 10. Unfortunately it has some bugs in it. My greatest annoiance is that the highs and lows are stuck at the price when you opened the chart. I have a straight line (EFS) in my chart that shows the highs and lows of the day realtime.

    So when the high of today when opening the chart was 25 and after 30 minutes the high is 26, the line is still plotted at 25.

    My question is: do other users have this problem in esignal 8.0 or higher?

    I have tested the beta version and the T&S is superfast. But I am wondering if the problem is solved in esignal itself or at the server end? If it is mostly solved at the server end I can upgrade to the latest esignal 8. Can esignal confirm that?

    Kind regards,

    Thevinman

    Hello Thevinman,

    This sounds like it could be a formula specific problem and may not be related to the eSignal version you are using. We need to take a look at the EFS code first. Please post a copy of your formula.

      using esignals high and low

      Hi JAson,

      I am using the high and low from Formulas/OHLC/Todays high EFS etc.

      They are intergrated in esignal.

      Kind regards,

        Hello Thevinman,

        Those studies were updated for 8.0 to take advantage of EFS2 functionality, which should handle the updating of that line as new highs are made intraday. Install 8.0 to get the updated studies.
