Assuming I correctly understood what you want to do then right click the symbol box in the Toolbar (see image) and select Edit Symbol List. Once the Edit Symbol List window opens you can Edit or Delete the individual symbols or Clear the list.

As a follow-on question is there a shortcut key to get to(focus) symbol box in Advanced Charts so one can scroll through symbol list with keyboard cursor keys!?

To my knowledge there isn't. You may want to submit a suggestion by selecting Customer Support-> Make a Suggestion from the main menu of the eSignal application.
