What am I doing wrong?

Hey there.

I can't get any symbols to work in the quote window but some of the index symbols. For example MSFT will not appear - not USO and all those well known symbols. Examples of symbols that work are $INDU and $COMPQ - most other symbols just show "No Data."

I would like to get a solution as soon as possible.

it sounds like you are not subscribed to any exchanges at the moment.

Has anyone had this problem before? Do I have to manually add in exchanges or do they come in automatically?

this is correct, you will have to add any exchanges on your account.

Within the latest version of eSignal you will be able to get EOD data for all exchanges, however Real Time data is only available if you are subscribed to the exchange.
