futures charts preserve lines

i'm a futures trader and when i "roll" my charts to the next contract, like changing ZN M8 to ZN U8, all of my trendlines and horizontal lines disappear. is there a way to preserve them? thanks.

All line tools are specific to a symbol and to my knowledge there currently isn't a way to preserve them (you may want to submit a suggestion by selecting Customer Support-> Make a Suggestion in the main menu of the eSignal application).
As a workaround you could use the user configured 1! continuous contracts. For more information on the 1! continuous contracts and instructions on how to create them you may want to review this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase
