  • Multiple Symbols won't work on sub 1 min chart

I see "Disabled for Tick Chart" if I try to display two symbols (as Multiple Symbols on the main chart window, not EFS-based) on a 20S chart.

    Seems an unreasonable restriction?

And a spread doesn't work either.

And a spread doesn't work either.
This is explained in this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase on spreads

Edit after post: The eSignal KB appears to be working intermittently at this time so the link may not always function

Alexis, the article you linked to refers to "Advanced Tick Charts". I assume the implication is that multiple symbols and spreads will only work with charts built from data delivered as bars from the servers, whereas I assume a 10S chart is built from tick data (ie the bars are built on the desktop, not the server).

Nevertheless, this is not an insurmountable obstacle, so maybe eSignal will consider an enhancement.

That is correct. Seconds bars are built from tick data. For more information you may want to see this article in the eSignal KnowledgeBase on the types of tick-based charts
