Newbie needs help with Market Depth Window

Just getting to grips with eSignal and looking at the depth window for the first time.

Can anyone tell me what the column b/a means in the sales window (jpg attached) .........Also the column "action"
I would also like to know what the terms mean that appear in the columns.

Another thing is that all sales seem to go through white...without changing color for bid/ask
