  • Moving Averages Looking very strange

    Hi Everybody

    Just switched to eSignal from another program and have found that the moving averages look decidedly different

    Take a look at the 5-SMA and the 10-SMA on the 2 pictures below and compare the eSignal Chart (White) with the other program Chart (Gray)

    The are both using the eSignal Datafeed (not at the same time)

    Can anyone help

    From the image you posted it seems that the scale of either the symbol or of the studies may have been set to No Scale.
    To verify if this is the case right click the chart and select Edit Studies. Then check that the Scale of the symbol and of each study that is plotting in the price pane is set to Scale Right. Click OK then right click the chart again and select Scaling-> AutoScale All and see if this resolves the issue (this last step may not be necessary but I am including it just to make sure)
    FWIW enclosed below is a screenshot showing how the 5 and 10 period simple moving averages look like at my end using the same studies, symbol and Time Template
