Greetings eSignal Community,
I'm pleased to give you a preview of some of the features coming in the next version of eSignal. As with every build, eSignal 10.2 will bring more performance improvements, but of course we'll also be introducing some new features. Here's some top level highlights:
Forex Window
New window type designed for currency traders; will have a similar feel to the Quote Board, but have graphical enhancements to highlight the significant digits of Forex cross-rates. In addition, it will use flags to better visualize the currencies being crossed, and have integrated trading buttons to quickly place a deal.
Morningstar Reports
This add-on includes detailed analyst reports on more than 2,000 mutual funds; includes Analyst Picks, Stewardship Grades, fund family scores, and much more. Get in-depth ETF Analyst Reports, consider buying and selling prices, and expected return figures for dozens of well-known and niche ETFs; over 150 Exchange Traded Funds are covered.
New Dividend Data Fields
Introduced in this version will be some new fundamental data fields, Dividend Record Date, Dividend Pay Date and Dividend Declaration Date.
Improved Symbol Search Window
Easier to use interface will allow users to get the information they need faster and more intuitively. Loads all found symbols into the search results space and allows those results to sorted.
Performance Optimizations
As market volumes continue to rise, it is even more vital that eSignal be further streamlined to perform well during peak volume periods. Performance for Pentium 4 systems will be improved. In addition, we?ll fix as many crashes/bugs as possible.

Please note that we are moving to a different product strategy that involves using smaller and more frequent releases. This enables us to adhere to a tighter and more predictable release schedule. Our estimate for releasing eSignal 10.2 is near the end of September.
