elementary question

how do you apply the LR channel? That is, on a candlestick chart do you start with the lowest price and go to highest? Do you turn the magnet on?

I am getting odd channel formations. thanks ahead of time.

Select the Regression Trend Channels tool then click on the bar from which you want the regression to begin [for example a swing high or low] and then on the bar on which you want it to end [for example the current bar or a swing high or low that follows then one from which you started the regression channel]. If you then right click on the drawn regression channel you can edit the parameters of that specific regression channel. To instead set the defaults right click on the Regression Trend Channel icon and set the parameters as required. The next time you will use the tool it will use those parameters as defaults.
With regards to the Magnet tool that simply controls how close you have to be to the high or low of the bar to pull the cursor to it when drawing any kind of line from the Line Toolbar.
