Market Depth Total View Questions

  • Market Depth Total View Questions

    Looking at different ways of viewing the Market Depth, I have settled on Total View as being the most Visually informative.

    However, whenever I change the stock I am currently viewing and look at sometthing else for a moment or two, and then switch back to the original stock, I find I have lost the count of the Volume waiting to go through.

    Difficult to explain but the 2 images below should show what I mean. The top image is "before" and the lower one is "after"

    Does anyone know what is going on here?

    When you switch from symbol to symbol on market depth it is refreshing the window to give you the latest data. Because we don't carry historical bid/ask on our servers it appears blank at first and then continues to build as you keep the window open for that particular symbol.
