Paper Trading Questions

Hi

1. Is there a way of maintaining a position overnight. i.e. Turn the computer off and restarting it the next day.

2. Is there a way to enter a lump sum into a paper portfolio for trading. for instance $100,000

Provided that you are using the most current version of eSignal (build 1291) you can enter a position with the Paper Trading Feature and hold that position overnight or for as many days as you would like.

In the early version of 10.0 there was an issue with saving open position when the application closed. This was corrected in the build 1291.

As far increasing your account balance I'm asking the Product Manager if it's possible and if so what file we would need to modify.

Once I get a reply to this I'll post back here.

Hey Jeff,

I've heard back from our Engineers and according to them there is not easy way to change the Account Balance.

We did put in a suggestion to increase it from the $5000 to $100,000 and should it be approved we should see it implemented in one of the upcoming releases.
