How do I change default colour in the text tool?

I'm using an advanced chart with a black background and every time I want to add text I have to change the colour from black to white. There is no default button like the other line tools. Does anyone know if there is another way?

Right click on the Text Tool icon in the toolbar then in the dialog box set the color and select OK.
From that point on the default color will be what you have set it to

Of course! thank goodness...
I'm so used to right clicking for the text tool in my floating windows it never occurred to me to try the toolbar icon.
Thanks for replying so soon Alex, much appreciated.
Perhaps it would be good to have a "Defaults" button in the right-click selection for the text tool, just like the other line tools?
