  • Dual cpu support

    Hello,
looking to upgrade hardware "new box".I have a question currently have a P3 850MHZ, 512MB, 128MB NVIDIA CARD.

It is "freezing continously" a pain in the butt have tried everything
I dont run anything in backround . I am running windows ME.
I know it's trash will run XP on new system.

Does esignal support dual proccesors or should I say can I expect
a performance increase. Freezing is caused by cpu overload no?
    I/O overhead.

In the old days I traded with "DollarLink" with a 486 25mhz
and had know problem things have changed in 15 years.

Does anybody have this freezing problem if so how did you solve it?
If somebodys using a super box p4 3mhz or dual xeon or opteron I'd like to here your experiences performance wise.

    IS IT WORTH IT.

    Thanks

We have an FAQ on Freezing that's worth a look. Here's another thread on optimizing your PC that covers some important items to keep in mind as well.

I'm pretty sure I've heard from other customers that they've used Dual CPU's but I'm not sure how eSignal takes advantage of the extra horsepower. Perhaps other users can chime in here.

    Thanks.
