Thank you, Alex, and to you and your family as well. Your many posts have been a great help and I wanted to take time out to express my appreciation.

Also holiday greetings to the eSignal family and a big thanks for all the improvements to both the software/datafeeds and this new community. It's infinitely better than the YHOO board both in layout and freedom from ads, etc.

This is the same message board system that elitetrader.com uses and it's great once you get used to all its features.

Thanks for the comments on the new eSignal and its progress. 7.2 is coming along well and should be ready to launch in early January.

We also like this message board technology better. It is like Elites. Plus, you are right to note - NO Advertisements!!

The backtesting is currently one of our top priorities for this release. We're getting help from user reports and have been getting detailed help from Brad Matheny and Sam Tennis who you've probably seen helping on the boards with other issues.

eSignal Server Address?

Anyone: Can you tell me how to find out my server address? I am currently beta-testing some software that supports eSignal data feed but I need to know a server address to use this feature. Help would be appreciated.

Are you looking for a local address on your PC or an eSignal address? We don't have any specific addresses for our servers to give out as we have hundreds and use a connection manager that points users on a case by case to the best set of servers available at the time.

If you give us a little more of the details, we might be able to give you a better answer.

Server Addresses

Todd: The data downloader for this product asks for the following eSignal settings:

Username
Password
Server Address

They told me that I should have been given a server address when I signed up for eSignal. Apparently, they don't know what they are talking about?

I have PM'ed Chuck the product information if you guys want to contact them directly to see what they are trying to do.
