  • efs file share area puts junk on my desktop

Recently, (the last 3-4 days) whenever I click on an efs file in the file sharing section to view it, about 15 new folders and icons appear on my desktop. They have names like BtOout, Lessons, Indices.TAB, Specs.Tab, etc. I delete them, and then the next time I open an efs file they reappear.

Is this a new feature of esignal Central? How do I stop it? I really don't want the clutter on the desktop.

    have eSignal running.

This needs to be fixed. If eSignal is running it won't do it. You can just drag them to the waste basket and delete for now.

Thanks, Chuck. You are right. If I access the file share area from within eSignal, no junk appears.

However, lots of times folks want to see what's going on without opening esignal so fixing it is most appreciated.
