"Triggered Alert List" on my taskbar?

With 7.4, I now have a Triggered Alert List on my taskbar, along with the main eSignal application. I can't close it, and if I select it nothing happens. I tried looking in the Online Help and searched here also, but did not find a useful explanation.

Do I need to have this running?

What does it do exactly? If I bring up my Alert List, NONE of the alerts are triggered, yet the Triggered Alert List remains.

Hi Tom,

Try this. Go to the "view" menu at top of eSignal application. If there's a "Triggered Alert List" showing then there should be a line in the drop down box of the "View" menu tab. Uncheck that box and then goto File-->Exit All and Save.

Bring back up eSignal and see if you still get that "Triggered Alert List".

Thanks for the prompt reply. When I restarted eSignal this time, the Triggered Alert List did NOT come up. If it happens again, I'll try your recommended procedure.
