Problems with report display on 7.2 beta

I just downloaded and installed on a Win98 machine the 7.2 beta because I was wanting to try out the alerts on studies.

When I run a backtest, a report no longer opens up displaying the results. I looked in the output directory and see that the report .xml file is generated. I opened up the file using IE and can see the data and various xml tags -- so I know that the report is being generated.

How do I get the reports to open up correctly as before?

Here ya go

Uncheck the box that says "close trades at end of backtest". That should allow it to work.


Use caution with the data the backtest report does not show the transactions summary properly. It is in the "to be fixed" in 7.2 release from what I hear.

As far as the transaction summary, what is wrong with it. This has probably been a thread somewhere else here but I could not find it.

Backtest

Use the search feature and look for backtest results. It is under EFS but back a few pages.
