  • Missing main menu bar

My main menu bar was undocked and I accidentally clicked the X that closes it. Now my main menu bar is missing and I can't access anything else.

I backed up c:\windows\winsig.ini but haven't found the right switch in it to reactivate the lost menu. Anyone know which section refers to it?

Is there a keyboard shortcut that can turn that menu on?

    Please help.

Here is a solution proposed some time ago by someone who had the same problem.
I would suggest that you make a backup of the winsig.ini before modifying it.
    Hope this helps

"I've played around and found how you can get the bar back to the original place. Open the winsig.ini file in your windows folder.
There are a lot of bars listed with their positions. It's cryptic, but I've been able to determine that [BCGWorkspace\ControlBars-Bar0] represents the missing bar. If you delete this line and the ones that are in it's group (there are 12 lines in the group in my file) while esignal is closed, and then open esignal, the menus should be back..."
