after getting some position in paper, the position can't be closed.

Paper Trader...
Open the Paper Trader "Broker Window", then click on the PORTFOLIO tab. Then click on the symbol with the open position, then right-click and choose "CLOSE".
This will close the open position in Paper Trader.

FYI,
PaperTrade seems to only take action after it receives a tick. I noted that in some cases if a new tick has not come through it will not fill/close a position. You could try closing esignal, finding the PaperTrade.dat file, opening it in notepad an deleting/modifying the line representing the order in question.
