  • How to change colors in Global Cursor Window

The default colors for the symbol, date, time and price and the colors for indicator values on the Global Cursor Window make it very difficult to read. Is there a way to change the colors of the text and / or background?

To change the background color in the Cursor Window for OHLC right click the chart, select Edit Studies then select the color in OHLC Background In Cursor Window.
To change the color of the text in the Cursor Window right click the chart, select Properties then select a new color for Cursor Window Text
To change the background for Symbol, Date, Time, Price in Cursor Window right click the chart, select Properties then select a new color for Text. This last setting will also change the color for the text on your chart (x and y axis values).

The Global Cursor Window (GCW) uses the colors from the chart that the mouse is currently hovering over. To change the colors of chart, select Chart Options --> Properties. There are also some settings that can be changed by right-clicking a Cursor Window (not the GCW), and selecting properties. Once you have things set the way you like them, you can change the defaults by selecting Chart Options --> Style Templates --> Set As Default.
