Hi:
2 part question:
1. Is there a way to make a custom header other than "quote?"
For example, I would like "Daytrading ideas," or "Type 1 Sells."
2. Any ideas on how to track trading ideas through E-signal?

Harndog,

If you are using Layouts, you need to save each window as a separate file. It is that file name that is displayed at the title for the window. So to give a name to a window, just click on File --> Save As. Please note that this does not work when using Pages.

I like to track trading ideas via the Text annotation tool on my Advanced Charts. This allows for a lot of flexibility as seen here. Here's where you can find the Text tool on the Line Toolbar (View --> Line Toolbar).

Quote header - tracking ideas

Thank you I tried the save page layout idea and I will see how it goes. I still will like to be able to apply a personal label instead of "Quote" in the Quote Window. While I use the scanner product, I think it would be easier if my "XTL RED" Quote window said "XTL Red Quotes" instead of "Quote."
My idea is I could have different quote windows open while I use the Get Scanner and just put ideas in the various quote windows.
Then, I can I can pull the "XTL RED" layout page and go through the list based on how the general market or group is setting up.

My goal is to increase my organizational skills, so I keep track of potential opportunities and convert my homework into $.
