  • Volume on European Futures

I understand that the feeds for European futures will change by the end of this month(Dec.)
    1) Will Eurex and Liffe contract volumes then be available immediately in both T&S windows as well as Advanced Charts?

    and,

    2) How exactly do I then determine/choose if tick or contract volume is shown, be it in Time/volume, Price/Volume, Interval..or Advanced Charts?

    Regards

    Martin

      Martin,

We're still researching what we'll have available when the new feed for Euro futures is ready. We should have the info by later today and we'll post a complete response for you.

      Thanks,

          Hi Martin,

Yes, Futures contract volume will be in the feed upon the change over. I do not yet have an answer for the second part of your question, still researching.

          Regards,
          Andy S.

            Martin.

Please check the thread below and associated Service Bulletin about our progress on converting our European Futures to direct feeds.

On your other question, we have an FAQ that pretty well explains it: http://www.esignalcentral.com/suppor...res_volume.asp[/url]

As we roll-out the new European Futures feed, you will start to see trade sizes on electronically traded contracts and the volume histogram will automatically adjust accordingly going forward.

            Hope that helps.

            Thanks.

              Thanks for the info!

Yes I did find the faq. entry before posting and thought it was a bit....vague/imprecise. After all EUREX and LIFFE have been fully electronic for years (the former always?).

              Things are getting clearer though

              Regards
