Importing data and symbols

Does anyone know how to import a variable INTO Esignal (let's say from EXCEL or a C-Code).

In the same way, is it possible to alter the symbol which is being used as the main symbol for the advanced chart by importing this value from a DDE or WINROS style import. The idea is to click on a symbol in EXCEL or C-Code and cause that to alter the symbol from which all the data on Advanced Chart is derived.

I would suggest taking a look at our Desktop API which uses ActiveX to do the things you mentioned.
