YM T/S Double Reports

My YM (Mini-Dow) Time and Sales double reports trades.

i.e.: every trade is shown as double; a 10 contract buy at the ask will look like:

9/23 15:25:52 Trade 9538 10
9/23 15:25:52 Trade 9538 10

Any of my studies on sub 1 min advanced charts also 'report' this double printing.

I too have noticed this problem with the YM and also the Bond contracts. This is very troublesome for me using tick charts - I have to use TS 2000i to plot correct charts. Double counting of trades in eSignal causes the tick bars to form twice as fast as they should - and do - in TS 2000i.

Although I can't locate the thread, this problem was acknowledged by eSignal - hopefully they'll fix the problem soon.

Seems to be ok on the latest beta. I believe this issue was caused by a beta version of 7.4. What version and build of eSignal are you running? FWIW, you can find this information under Help --> About...

FWIW, It looks like I should download the 7.5 beta version unless you can come up with a fix.

Please do try the beta. The current release is stable, and it should address the YM issue.

The eSignal 7.5 Beta 3.exe is the actual install file. The other, IB 7.5 Plug-In.exe is the plug-in for Interactive Brokers. If you are using IB, then feel free to install; if not, then there isn't any need to do so.

Another Probelm with YM T&S

Hi Jay,

Beta version 7.5 worked will for a few days but since 10/13 the size of the YM trade does not print. I can get the sizes of the combined b/a but the size of the trades.

However, the T&S works just fine on stocks.

As of tonight, we will no longer carry Chicago Board of Trade A/C/E (Electronic) Trade Sizes.

Some things you may notice in eSignal:

Trade Sizes will no longer be available in the eSignal Quote window or Time & Sales. Volume in Intraday charting will now be trade volume (number of trades) instead of contract volume (actual number of contracts traded). When using eSignal Advanced charts, Tick Volume charts will no longer work (400V).

Because of problems with the Trade Sizes coming from the CBOT, we will remove them until they can correct their feed. Please let us know if you have any questions.
