  • Hard drive over worked

Probably been discussed before, but my hard drive crunches like crazy with Esignal. CPU usage is about 10% as I have gobs of RAM. I only run 13 windows, light on the studies as well. I don't need to defrag either.

Is there possibly a setting some place where I am telling Esignal to automatically save everything? I don't have this problem with other data providers.

I run Win XP home Edition.

    Thanks,

    Jay

First, I've heard of that. eSignal stores data that it's received in memory, and not on the hard drive. The only thing I can't think of that would be hitting the hard drive that hard is either an EFS writing constantly to a file, or a malfunctioning portion of eSignal. If you are not using any EFS files, then I would suggest a Complete Uninstall & Reinstall. If you are running EFS Studies, then I would suggest removing them one by one to find the culprit.
