    Didn't know where else to post this....

    I have not gotten any email notification of bulletin board posts or file share posts since 11/29.

    (and yes, my yahoo email is working otherwise)

    This happened about 6 months ago, so maybe the same issue?

    Ok you can turn it off now for a few minutes so I can catch up. heehee! VERY joking!

      not working again since Friday eve 12/19/03.

      Nothing coming thru for either file sharing OR forums.

        now the fileshare email notification seems to be working but not yet forum messages

            The forum posts are now coming through as well.

            In the past, when email notification 'went down', when it came back up, it was as if someone/something 'unclogged the system'. All the messages from the time of the stoppage came through in addition to current ones. This time, however, only current posts are coming thru. FYI

              Still not getting emails here.

              I haven't received any email from the forums since last week Friday. Even after it was reported as fixed here I wasn't getting any emails.

                    It's been 10 days since I've received any email from subscribed forums. Last emails received were 12-19-03.

                      Although there were some intermittent problems just before Christmas email notification appears to be working as far as I can see.

                        12/19 was the last day I had emails as well, but continued on 12/23 for me.

                        I wondered before the problem was 'fixed' for me if there was a problem with yahoo email. I have noticed odd problems with yahoo mail for a while. Are you using yahoo email for esignal emails?

                        The reason I still care about this issue is that ordinarily when there is an email stoppage, when the problem was fixed, both current and old blocked messages come through and this time I only got current messages.

                        I wonder if there is something going on that has to do with domain names? Perhaps try a different email provider?

                          Thanks for the posts but no the problem isn't my ISP, it's something the forum operations team needs to fix.

                            For what could be relevant all trhe flow of email to my Pc's is perfect. No problem at all.

                              As far as we can tell all outbound email from our forums are working as expected. Does your ISP or any local software have any spam filters that might be blocking these notifications?
