How to set an alert on the ratio of 2 symbols

In advanced charts, you can show nice charts of stock pairs, by typing the ratio of the symbols, for example: "SWFT / LSTR".

What I would like to do, is to be able to set an alert on this ratio.

Does anybody know how to do this, without programming a formula?

Without the use of a formula, alerts cannot be created for spreads. If this is something you would like in a future version of eSignal, I would suggest emailing our Product Development Team at [email protected].

See my posted dated 12/23/03 asking about entering an expression as a quote, for example "MV#F-SP#F" for the ValueLine-S&P 500 spread.

I gather this isn't currently possible :-( so I will email to the product team.
