  • Constant Value Bars?

I would like to know if it is possible to have an advanced chart where every bar is comprised of 100 ticks (for example)...

I know this is possible for stocks where actual volume is being reported, but is this possible in the futures markets?

    Thanks,
    James

In Advanced Charts you have T, V, P and S intervals that are all tick based.
T is for Tick-bars (100T would be 100 ticks irrespective of number of shares/contracts traded), V is for Volume bars (100V is 100 shares/contracts traded), P is for Price-change bars and S is for Seconds-bars.
Yes it is possible to use V with some futures ie those that are electronically traded since they report the actual volume
