  • Line List

Am I correct in understanding that there is a separate and unique List for each chart?

Suggestion: It would be nice to have the chart name on the List window. I have multiple charts and I'm never quite sure which chart the List is referring to when a warning pops up.

You are correct. There is a separate line list for each chart. Great suggestion about putting the chart name in the line list. I'll pass that along to our Product Development Team.

I've seen a number of comments on reducing the number of lines to improve performance so I need a suggestion on how to better use the program. Here's the problem: I have several quote screens where I am tracking a couple hundred securities. The quote screen is linked to a group of advanced charts each with a different time frame and a variety of EFS and indicators. I have alerts on many of these and I like to make notes and draw lines, fib retracements etc on the charts. The result is an ever expanding line list (and alert list). I've had to increase my minimum number of lines for the auto warning. As my line list expands my system slows down (I'm now heading off for my third upgrade) and charts take longer and longer to load. I and others have suggested the page function should act more like the standalone AGET. This way each chart could be saved locally allowing for rapid loading. Since this isn't going to be done - does anyone have a suggestion on a better way to track multiple stocks with lots of lines and notes?
