Stupid question here, on the option window there is a volatility number in the quote box where the underlying is quoted. is that the volatility for the stock and then you use the implied vol column in the option section for the vol of the option?
The volatility number displayed at the top of the screen is the stock's volatility and is used as part of the calculation for implied volatility as well as the greeks for each individual strike.
