  • FTP upload problems

I cannot send a file ( chart picture) by the right click send to ftp site option using the image publisher through my Belkin DI-604 router. I AM able to send directly w/o using the router so I know what I want to do is doable. Unfortunately a router is necessary for me since I use 3 computers on 1 cable connection .
This site http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.as...eral%20Routers says something about not being able to use active ftp client software. I'm guessing eSignal is active client. Does anyone know if it's possible to fix this on my end so I can upload files? Perhaps sending via a port other than the default (21) ? Has anyone had success with ftp on another brand/model of router? All help is welcome, especially comments from eSignal staff.

Judging by the flood of responses it seems I was the only person with this problem. Nevertheless I'll update this thread in case someone in the future needs an answer.
The solution was to use another brand of router .Why it solved my ftp upload problem I can't say, only that it did.

Sorry I had not seen the thread, otherwise I would have replied. There is so much activity on this BB, If you do not get a response in a day or two, repost, someone will help.

I had a similar problem where I had an old netgear router that was supposed to but did not support access to the port. I upgraded to a new d-link router which did support it. A newer netgear or linksys probably would have worked too, however this one fit my requirements the best.
