Reply to "Installing eSignal 7.2" at YahooGroups

I like to install eSignal 7.2.
Do I need to UNINSTALL 7.1 before installing 7.2?
Will I lose my settings?
Unfortunately eSignal doesn't mention what to do!

You can install over 7.1 and - so far as I can tell - you will not lose any of your settings.

In general eSignal seems to do a really good job of not loosing your default settings/charts during an upgrade, but common sense says that you should back these things up before doing an upgrade "just-in-case". Developers can't test for every edge condition that might exist out there in the real world.
