Tick Chart X axis Time series incorrect !

The ticks on the chart start at 10.00am, but they should be at 9.30am...

Time series is Dynamic..

Why, ????

Maybe I wasnt so clear...

The tick on the chart at 10.00 am should be at 9.30am, because that is how the 1 minute chart shows the same data.

NOT that the chart is missing 30 minutes of data.

Whats wrong with mine, what time series are you using.

My computer is set at New York Time.

As you see time is Dynamic.

So what are your settings..

What time zone are in? Just want to be sure that you computer is set to the time zone you are in.

My computer is set to EST. Time Template is Dynamic (I do not believe it can
be otherwise with Tick charts).

My time zone is 12+ GMT in New Zealand.

I changed my computer to New York time.

The Esignal DataManager Time is showing that also.

I will try it out when I get home.

I found out how you can reproduce the chart I loaded at the start..

1) Load new advanced chart 1 minute for LLY for feb 3rd 2003.
2) Make Interval TICK
3) All looks fine at 9.30am Start, first tick is at $61.00 at open. Correct.
4) Select LINE Chart
5) Select Edit studies
6) Select Tick(c,LLY,T) Dynamic, 0:00-24:00)
7) Only leave on Trades = Connect Dots, and Square wave, all else is turned off.
8) Apply this setting
9) View chart at opening Da DA...open is not correct, trades start around 10.00am

Do you confirm this, so whats going on.

Also if you go along the chart you see that the lumps and bumps are out of sync with the 1 minute chart.

A bump on the tick chart maybe at 3:00pm, but the 1 minute chart same bump is at 2:30pm...

Looks at tick chart at 14:54..see yellow box on X axis, this lump is at 14:30 on 1 minute chart..

I've attempted to recreate this and all works fine for me. This is not to say you're not having a problem, just that we need to dig deeper to get to the bottom of this.

What version are you currently on? After you bring up the chart do you scroll back to add an additional day of data? If so does that bring in all of the data for 2/3? Are you using a time template to stipulates one day of data only? Is the chart slow in loading?

Any additional information you can add may help us in determining if there's another conflict within your system which could cause some of the data not to come in.

Interval : I Default
Days : Dynamic
Start : 0:0
End : 0:0

My system
System : Windows Xp
CPU : 2.4 GHZ
Ram : 512
HardDrive : 60 GB
Esignal Version : 7.2 Buld 544 1/27/2003
Internet feed : ADSL
Time Zone Computer is at GMT-5:00EST ( as per Time Sync TurboFeed Datamanager)

The normal tick chart (as loaded new with BID and ASK showing) unadjusted for the line chart looks ok, as it has all the lumps and bumps in the same place at the correct time.

I just loaded up Esignal, looking at Tick chart and 1 minute Chart for EBAY, the data 5 minutes ago the time is out of Sync ....but when I go back to Edit Studies and Turn ON all options for BID, ASK and Trades ( note the chart still has line series activated ) the time sync btw the TICK and 1 Minute is perfect.

Sync out Factor : Current (ie Last) bar is at 11.50am on both charts, 1 minute bar at pivot chart bottom is at 11:32 am, but on tick chart its at 11:46am.

This is with no scolling back, chart loaded quickly.
