Why does the parabolic SAR re-draws without hitting the other side?

I have found that the Esignal stock ParaSAR does not work on several commodities (not sure about stocks).

I purchased a EFS study from Chris D. Kryza:

for about $20.00 and it works perfectly.

I'd give you a copy but since Chris sells these it wouldn't be right.

This one works nicely, too. Don't know how it fits into the SAR spectrum.

Hi mig928,

There is a problem with the Parabolic SAR within eSignal on Forex issues due to the data only containing Bid / Ask information and no trade information.

I don't know if Chris's EFS works for Forex or not, but if anyone could program an EFS to work, Chris would be the one! Be sure to clarify with him if it works on Forex.
