Could someone direct me to a www. site that offers a free countdown timer (that works).

Hi Bruce,

If you are referring to a timer that counts the time required for the last bar to be completed, you may want to check out the Remaining Bar Time EFS. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but if so, it works wonderfully. Please let me know. Thank you for the post.

If instead you are looking for a timer application click here for a list of programs a lot of which are available for free. FWIW I use TimeLeft by NesterSoft and it works fine

I loaded the study but it seems it only works when a tic occurs.

What i'm looking for is a time countdown that works all the time.
