    End of day

Can I use Stockwatch pro with eSignal end-of-day account?

You can use Stock Watch Pro with an eSignal EOD account. One thing to keep in mind is you can only access the program during specified periods of the day. This is always prior to market open and after the market is closed. Here is more information regarding the eSignal EOD subscription.

        Hi,

If I get an annual subscription to eSignal, does Stock Watch Pro offer a similar discounted plan? I know it does for QFeed...

        Thanks,

To add to the previous post, how many charts can I open at the same time? Any limit?

              Hi Zadombei,

There isn't a charting limitation on the eSignal side of this equation. However if this application is utilizing the Data Manager, there may be a symbol limitation depending on your level of service with eSignal. If you are using this with the EOD data, there really isn't any constraint, other than CPU and software limitations. Yo may want to check with Stock Watch Pro for any information they can provide regarding their software and charting capabilities. Thanks.

                  Bad ticks

When I do backtesting in Stock Watch Pro, I occasionally run into some bad ticks that throws my data off. What does eSignal usually do when this happens?

                    Danstrack,

eSignal handles bad ticks a couple of different ways. One way is having the user filter the tick locally. This can be done with the Bar Editor feature.

                    The Menu

                    The Editor

The other method of tick repair is to report it via the Report Bad Tick tool within eSignal. This lets our QA team repair the issue on the server side rather than a local correction by the user.

                    Hope this helps.
