I thought that eSig supported making an indicator operate on another indicator (instead of on price). I can't find help references on this. Please point me to help on this topic.

You can easily do that with the Formula Wizard if you intend to use the builtin studies.
For a brief guide on how to create a study on a study using the Formula Wizard see this thread.
Also check the StudyonaStudy Word document that is in the Docs folder of the eSignal directory
