Renko charts update speed

I have a renko chart that delays making new bars, then creates a burst of several new bars.
Why ? is this someway an expected behavoir? How to fix?

It has to do with the interval of the chart. Renko will only update at the chart interval. When the interval completes, as many bars are written as price change and your Renko settings would dictate. Try reducing your chart interval until it behaves more like you would expect.
