  • How to overlay TISK & TRIN on advanced Chart

Is there a simple way of doing this (menu driven)? The FAQ documentation points towards using some EFS code, but there is no documentaiton on the EFS script, especially on how to designate the symbol to be overlaid (at least without really going in and debugging the code).

You don't necessarily need an efs to do this.
Select the chart and begin typing the main symbol (for example $TICK). This will open the Change Symbol dialog box. Click on the Multiple Symbols>> button which will expand the dialog box by adding 4 empty boxes. Type the $TRIN symbol in the top one and click OK or press <Enter> on the keyboard.
You will then be prompted for the display settings of each symbol.

I thought I would add to Alexis post with an image of the process he is referring to. In this case, IBM is the base symbol with MSFT as the overlaid symbol.

You need to begin typing a symbol (or interval) to open the Change Symbol dialog box
