Over the weekend my data manager started reporting NODATA. My account setup is fine and the IP address is still set to cm*.esignal.com. I checked the firewall and all outgoing ports are open. How can I test for sure that the firewall will allow port 2189 though?

gibbonsk,
In addition, you may want to check this firewall page for detailed and vendor specific information about eSignal and firewalls/proxy servers.Regards,

gibbonsk,
You may have a Layered Service Provider filtering your TCP/IP.
Go to your System info, under System Summary open Components-Network-Protocol. Under Name, make sure all of the entries do not include the word Layered or LSP. If you see any entries, you have to remove this.
If you do see any mention of this, reply to this thread and I will pm you the instructions on how to remove this. Thanks,

Suggestions Please
Thanks for the help. I just found out that they started blocking outgoing port 2189 because of virus issues. Since the port doesn't appear to be changeable, am I stuck? They don't want me outside the firewall so what are my options?

gibbonsk,
If your network blocked port 2189, then you will not be able to use eSignal. You can use MarketCenter or Quotrek. MarketCenter uses port 80, the same port you use when you browse the net behind your firewall. Here are the FAQs:
To learn more about the Quotrek, click on the link below:
