  • Helper's folder RSIcolorline.efs()

    Just curious if someone at esignal could check this file out?
    Helper folder > Helpers/RSIcolorline.efs

    I have compared this efs (default period set to 14) to all other RSI (14) period efs's and cannot figure out where or what this efs is computing off of. I does not match up with anything.

    AKA (close, low, hl/2) none of them!

    The efs you mention is the same as the RSI Standard efs in the Library folder. The Basic Studies RSI instead is the RSI Enhanced also available in the Library folder.

      Just a heads up Alex, was'nt sure why it was off so bad, just wanted to bring it to esignal's attention.

      Thanks,

        The difference is caused by the fact that the RSI Standard is using a Simple Moving Average to base it's calculation on, while the RSI Enhanced is using the more common Exponential Moving Average.
