broker plugins..

  • broker plugins..

    i just downloaded 7.2 upgrade as well as the cybertrader plugin. After doing so my trade button still remains grayed out. if i click on an equity and go to integrated trading , the only option is paper trade. Why hasnt the cybertrader plugin loaded?

    Hi RCM,

    When you downloaded the Cybertrader plug-in, was eSignal 7.2 running? We have heard of problems when downloading a broker plug-in while eSignal software is running.

      Did you install the Cybertrader API? Without it, you will get what you describe. You can download the Cyber X2 API at:



      Execute the api.exe, and then eSignal should recognize the Cyber X2 API. You must be signed up for Cyber X2 usage to login for trading.

      Nice how there are no instructions anywhere on how to integrate Cybertrader into eSignal.

      My question is - how do you uninstall the Cyber API and Cybertrader plugin? No uninstall for the API, and the Cyber Trader Plug-In uninstall routine does not work - it tries to install it again instead. Probably need to uninstall eSignal and manually get rid of the plug-in and X2 api to get rid of this integration.

        We do have several FAQ's on the Cybertrader integration. Go to the link here for the FAQ's.

          Hi Andy,

          Yes, that link to the Integrated trading FAQ now has the correct information for version 7.2 and Cybertrader integration.

          I noticed it said "Last Updated February 18, 2003 " , which was today.

          Couldn't find it a week ago and had to call eSignal support to get the answer. Some of your support links are buried pretty deep.
