You can use an EFS file to create overlays. Please see this thread for more information:

    http://forum.esignalcentral.com/show...hlight=overlay

You can also compare two symbols, called a spread.

Lastly, we do have a Symbol Overlay function in Standard Charting.

    Thanks,

      spread symbols does not work

I tried to create an advanced chart for the NOB spread (Notes - Bonds), and the advanced chart would not appear.

      I tried the following:

ZN M3 - ZB M3 (spaces around minus - sign)
ZN M3 -ZB M3 (1 space only between 1st symbol and minus sign)
ZN M3-ZB M3 (no spaces at all)
ZN #F - ZB #F (same as above using the #F format)
      ZN #F -ZB #F
      ZN #F-ZB #F

and not a single one worked. Is there an issue with creating a spread chart using the electronic A/C/E symbols? Can anyone from esignal please try this and let me know if it works?

BTW, I'm using a dynamic 5:00-12:00 pst timeframe. I tried drawing this using daily, 15min, 1min, 3min, Hourly bars, etc. and nothing worked for me.

Seems to be plotting fine with both the specific and continuous contracts on all time frames I have tried. In the following image you can see the 15 and 60 min spread charts for the specific and continuous respectively on a 8:00-15:00EST Time Template.
Tried also other session times without any problems.

BTW is there any particular reason you use those session times? I normally have treasuries on either 21:00-17:00 if I want all sessions or 8:20-15:00 if open outcry only.
