suggestion - a better search feature

would be nice to have a better search feature for this forum, as it is becoming rather extensive, and may cut down on repetitive inquiries. agree?

Hi Michael,

I'm assuming you've tried using the search engine on the tool bar. Can you give a sense of what you mean by "better"?

We do plan to re-organize the categories in the near future to make browsing easier but we hadn't planned on altering the built-in search engine. We'd love to hear feedback, though, on what works and what doesn't.

It wasn't so clear, but I was referring to browsing around. Re-organizing might be good, I'll look forward to it. The search engine is fine.

we could remove the 4 character min length for searching, though...e.g., search - backtest max run up draw down.

Good point. As you say, quite a few acronyms are less than 4 characters ( EMA, avg, etc. ) so that change makes sense. We'll take a look and if it's doable, we'll include that change with the new layout in a few weeks.
